Our Story
You might be curious to know how we started. My father arrived in Mumbai in 1990 at the young age of 15. He began his journey working with his uncle, starting from the very bottom by washing utensils. After a year, he moved to a kirana store, where he spent five years learning the ropes before eventually managing the operations himself for another four years.
In 1999, a new chapter began. My father's elder brother founded Vinayak Sweets and Farsan Mart in a modest two-shutter shop. The first two years were a test of patience, as sales remained low and the business struggled to find its footing. However, we stayed committed to one thing: uncompromising quality.
Slowly but surely, that quality began to attract a loyal customer base. The turning point came during the festive seasons—Rakshabandhan, Ganpati, Dussehra, and Diwali—when we started receiving our first bulk orders. Our reputation grew until we were handling large-scale orders for major corporations like Tata Power and Pepsi.
To keep the momentum going, we began running advertisements in local theaters, which further boosted our visibility. Our hard work even reached high places, earning us orders from MM Sharma, the mentor to Mukesh Ambani.
After the challenges of the lockdown, we didn't just recover—we grew. Today, you'll find us in our expanded three-shutter outlet, continuing the legacy of quality that started over two decades ago.
